Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., more commonly known as MERS, has received yet another nod of approval - this time from the 3rd Circuit, which has determined that MERS need not record all mortgage note transfers in Pennsylvania's local registries, meaning the Recorder of Deeds can permanently say good-bye to that potential revenue stream.
